Ronnie was finally freed after 44 years of suffering. His conviction was vacated. The battle is not yet won. Ronnie needs to receive a pardon from the Governor of NC in order to receive compensation from the State of NC. The most he could receive is just $750,000.
Ronnie is currently being represented by the Duke Wrongful Convictions Clinic with Jamie Lau being the lead attorney. They are working his case PRO BONO.
**Any donations received do NOT go towards legal fees. Donations are used 100% for Ronnie & go directly to his account.

My name is Ashleigh Long. I have been involved with helping Ronnie since 2013. We were married on August 18, 2014. When I met Ronnie, I was a student at UNCC majoring in Criminal Justice & Criminology. I withdrew to help fight for Ronnie full-time. I am Ronnie's direct contact. I work directly with his attorneys. Everything I do is approved by Ronnie.
Ronnie was freed on my birthday!!
Ronnie Long, his sister, his son (& only child) & his attorney were all interviewed by Erin F. Moriarty of the CBS This Morning Show.
