There are fingerprints that were taken from the crime scene & do NOT match Ronnie. The State of N.C. refuses to release these fingerprints or enter them into AFIS! Some of the fingerprints can be used for DNA testing! Why won't NC test the prints?
My name is Ashleigh Long. I have been involved with helping Ronnie since 2013. We were married in 2014. When I met Ronnie, I was a Criminal Justice & Criminology major at UNCC. I withdrew to help fight for Ronnie full-time. I visit Ronnie weekly & speak with him daily. I am Ronnie's direct contact to the outside world. I work directly with his attorneys. Everything I do is first approved by Ronnie & his attorneys.
Ronnie is currently being represented by the Duke Wrongful Convictions Clinic with Jamie Lau being the lead attorney. They are working his case PRO BONO. *Any donations received do NOT go towards legal fees. Donations are used 100% for Ronnie & his support efforts. We make sure Ronnie always has money on his account so he can make phone calls, send mail, purchase snacks & toiletries as well as pay for medical calls (yes, the prison charges for these!).
#TeamRonnieLong as we like to call ourselves, is made up of many people all over the world. Anyone who supports Ronnie is considered part of the team. There are many ways to support Ronnie. Sign & share his petition, wear some #FreeRonnieLong gear, share a post on social media, send Ronnie a card/letter, tell someone else about his injustice, etc. There are so many ways to support Ronnie & most of them cost nothing other than a few minutes of our time.
On the cover!
Ronnie's story was in the top 15 favorites for the INDY Week for 2018!
All money donated goes to Ronnie & his support efforts. Prison is expensive! Ronnie uses the donations to send mail, make phone calls, pay for medical visits, get snacks & toiletries.
